Sergeant Benjamin Pershing -- Korey met Pershing when they were first stationed in the surrounding area, and found a pal in him rather quick. Someone he could rely on, mostly. A fellow soldier.

Lieutenant Roland Howard -- Korey met Lieutenant Howard the same time he met Pershing. At first, Korey only saw him as another commanding officer, ready to tell them where to go and what to do without telling them why they were doing it, but Korey soon made quick friends with him once he found out about Howard's dislike of the Desert Ranger, Riley Torres.

Riley Torres -- Korey never had a good impression of Torres. Korey sees Torres as someone overstepping their boundaries, and with the death of Roland Howard, a friend of Korey's, Korey is beginning to think that Torres was conspiring to murder Howard to get her power in the town back.
